Album Update

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

Recording is still ongoing for the as yet untitled second album. We’re looking to have this completed by the end of this year. We’ve started uploading both audio and video clips of what has been going on so far… there are currently 3 audio clips available to stream on MySpace taken from demo versions of some of the new material along with various video clips both on MySpace and YouTube.

Check the blogs both on Blueneck.com and MySpace for updates and random scribblings from the band members regards to what is currently happening.

Carmen Rizzo

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

Duncan has recently collaborated on a track for the latest album by LA based artist Carmen Rizzo which is now available for purchase. The tracked (named ‘Confusion) features on ‘Ornament of an imposter’, the latest release from the two-time Grammy nominee. Carmen is a frequent fixture in album credits as a producer, mixer, remixer, programmer, and co-writer on a wide range of influential artists including Seal, Coldplay, Alanis Morissette, Paul Oakenfold, BT, Tiesto, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Cirque du Soleil, KD Lang and Pete Townshend of The Who, to mention only a few.

Blueneck have been working on their own version of the track during sessions for the upcoming album and theres also a strong possibility that Carmen will be remixing some Blueneck tracks in the near future…
